ONYX EYES

In the end of 2005 Ines, Sören, Denise and Jörg (Josch) splitted with their former band due to musical divergences concerning the new album. Short time later they founded the new band "Onyx Eyes" and in the beginning of 2006 the band was completed by Alexender (Alex) and Martin (Mart).
ONYX EYES are the best example for straight-forward and complex Gothic-Metal/ Progressive - they stand for music that gets under your skin revealing new facettes everytime you are listening to it. The base is a perfectly mixed symbiosis of playful but also powerful guitars, pumping bass guitar and drums as well as a keyboard that is responsible for charming soundscapes - and all this is completed by an amazing female voice. ONYX EYES do not make themselves get lost in the artificiality of this genre but create something great, independent and important that catches the ear of every listener. "Delights and Tears" was created in a two years's process full of intensity and emotion - be prepared to experience music that will not let you down.
Every part of the band has long experiences in the music business and have been working in other musical projects or playing in other bands for many years. Some of them are also recently involved in other bands and all had several gigs at the WGT or could support many famous bands as Leaves Eyes, Tarja, Tristania, Letzte Instanz, Crematory, Scream Silence, Dreadful Shadows, End Of Green, Das Ich, Down Below, Thanateros, Janus, Mila Mar, The Ocean, Liquido and others.
