LET ME DREAM



ani Koskela (Guitar/Vocals) and Janne Peltoranta (Drums) forms The band.

1991: Teemu Peltoranta joins the band. At first he's a vocalist but later on switches to keyboards.

1992: The band records their first demos (2) as Congestion. Marko Pitkänen (guitar) joins and leaves the band twice.

1993: Marko Tuominen joins the band to play bass guitar and perform second vocals. Third demo "Bed of the Ancient River" is recorded.

1994: Keyboard player Teemu Peltoranta leaves the band and Jari Koskela joins in. The band records the fourth demo, gets a record deal and changes their name to Let Me Dream.

1995: Debut album "My Dear Succubus" is released by Adipocere Records, France and distributed globally. Jarno Keskinen (Guitar) joins and leaves the band.

1996: The band records "Medley Rain" promo tape and tours Finland with Two Witches.

1997: The band forms their own record company Succubus Records.

1998: Succubus Records releases "Medley Rain" as Mini - CD. Juhana Stolt (Guitar) joins the band.
1999: A tour of Finland with Midnight Configuration (UK) and Two Witches. Tuukka Koskinen (Vocals) joins in and the band plays their first foreign show at Hell Gates Festival, Tallinn - Estonia. The band signs a record deal with Nocturnal Music, Italy. "The Maze" CD-single is released.
~?~ 2000: 2nd album "Greyscales" is released by Nocturnal Music and distributed globally. The band tours Finland with Finntroll and Ensiferum. The band tours Finland again with Ancient Rites (Bel). Janne Peltoranta (Drums) leaves the band.

2001: Marko Jokinen (drums) joins in and the band plays shows in Russia and Estonia. The band starts to record their 3rd album.

2002: The band plays in Belgium and Germany. The band keeps on producing the third album until late 2002.

2003: More touring in Germany, Belgium & Holland. In late 2003 the band plays for a full house at St. Petersburg's (Russia) Club Orlandina. Jan Yrlund designs cover for "Soulshine" album.

2004: On the eve of their 3rd European tour the band releases a limited edition of "Soulshine" album on Succubus Records. Succubus version includes a "Dust of Time" video as a bonus. The band plays a show at Celtic Rock Indoor festival in Gummersbach (Germany) in front of 800 people.

2005: The band do a short european tour "Springtime Decadence" together with Belgium metalheads I Witness.

2006: The band signs the deal with German label Black Bards Entertainment. 3rd album "Soulshine" is finally official released. The band plays first show in Finland for four years. Afterwards a show in St. Petersburg along with Vergeltung and European tour along with Die Apokalyptischen Reiter and Tyr.

2007: The band is working with the new material. Show in Finland is confirmed - the band will finally perform on their home soil after five years.
